MWAG to stage labour workshop as part of Media Week 2012
The Media Workers Association of Grenada (MWAG) has announced the staging of a workshop on labour rights.
MWAG says the workshop is targeted at media workers on the island and scheduled for Wednesday June 13th from 9am to 12 noon at the Ministry of Works Conference Room. Continue reading

MWAG launches Media Week 2012
The Media Workers Association of Grenada has announced plans for the staging of media week 2012.
The week starts this Sunday and will climax the following Sunday with a church service at the Happy Hill Roman Catholic Church.
Other activities of the week include school visits, a donation to the Hillsview home for the aged in St.John’s, a workshop on labour rights for media workers and a family fun day at old Trafford next week Saturday.
Plans are also being finalized for a river tube excursion at Balthazar.
The week therefore is being observed from Sunday June 10th to Sunday
The theme for media week this year is “Media in a Challenging World”.
MWAG has decided to adopt the same theme used for the International Press Institute (IPI) World Congress being hosted in Trinidad from June 23rd to 26th.©
