Police say investigations are continuing into the death of two brothers from the western parish of St. John.
The bodies of Kareem Peters and Dellon Peters were found trapped in their wrecked car in the Halifax Bay some 250 feet below the Perseverance road.
Reports are the two were on their way to work on Tuesday morning when their car ran off the road and plunged 250 feet landing on rocks on the sea-coast.
It appears that the vehicle ran off the road at a sharp corner on the Perseverance road into the secluded Halifax Bay early Tuesday morning.
However it was only noticed after midday by a fisherman cruising the waters in the area, who notified police.
Autopsy results revealed that Kareem, who was the driver of the vehicle, died as a result of cervical spine injury and multiple traumas to the body and head while Dellon died from a crushed brain injury and multiple traumas to the body and head as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Investigations are continuing.©
