Police in Grenada say a drug bust in the north of the island can be deemed the largest ever in their drug operations on the island to date.
Following an early morning operation in St. Patrick, the northern most parish of the mainland, law enforcement officers have hauled in 300 kilos of marijuana and cocaine carrying a street value of US$1.5 million.
The operation is part of their ongoing efforts to crack down on drug-related criminal activity on the island.
